if you follow the alien's eye line, he's really not looking at GA and BC; maybe he's looking at Superman and Hawkman...
The subgroup they're fighting here is comprised of the GA, BC, Superman and Green Lantern, but it seems reasonable that these aliens would consider us aliens.
