Batman and the Outsiders #3: Critical Analysis

Listen, I can't leave you hanging like that. Do the Outsiders ever leave Markovia? Does Batman ever make kissy with the JLA again? Do Katana and Halo ever get personalities other than "angry" and "stupid"?

Well fear not, true believers! Part 3 of the Outsiders' origin comes your way... NOW.If the future of Gotham City is to be decimated by the Pillsbury Doughboy's ghost in a gasmask, with only the thin blue line of Geo-Force's pompadour standing in its way, I'm not sure I want to know.

But forge ahead I must. How the Outsiders get to Gotham. Which of them get to be roommates. And the continuing list of what Halo doesn't remember. It's all coming up... NEXT! Don't touch that dial! (Use the remote.)

How come Geo-Force can fly? Isn't he all earth-based and such?

He has control over gravity in some way, and is usually shown shooting a beam behind himself for propulsion.

Since there's none of that here, I surmise his bouffant hairdo is keeping him aloft.

That's not just any beam he's shooting, Siskoid - it's a lava blast!
