Kung Fu Friday Moments: The Glowing Iron Hands of King Boxer

It's the movie that started the Kung Fu craze in the 70s - King Boxer AKA Five Fingers of Death, and it's the reason Tarantino used the Ironside theme in Kill Bill. As you'll see, King Boxer stole it first. Watch for those Iron Hands!

A fond KFF memory, and a classic Chinese vs. Japanese match to boot. The Iron Hands effect is simple, but awesome. I don't know why Lo Lieh didn't play more heroes after that. He's so often cast in villain roles.

We saw this film more than 2 years ago, and we still greet each other with the gesture and POUIIII-POUII-POUIIIIIIIIII sound on occasion.
