En-DANGER-ed Animals

Check out Revell Model Makers' none too subtle stress on part of the word "endangered", because they know how to sell to boys.
Endangered AND dangerous! This mid-70s back-of-comics ad shows a gorilla, komodo dragon, condor and rhino. It's probably a good thing dodos were already extinct because they'd have been hard-pressed to make those look fearsome. But where are the giant otters, siberian tigers and goliath frog? They deserve snap-on models too!

Just a few days ago, I was looking at this ad on the back of Superman Family #168.

Brings back memories. This is pretty much the only model series that I put together all of them and had a nice little display on a shelf over my bed.

Wasn't there a polar bear as well? Am I imagining that, or was it another model series altogether?
