FAVORITE METHOD FOR ACCUMULATING STORY POINTS
Blind trust to the point extortion. Seeing as his GameMaster often wanted to put traitors in his midst (most notably Turlough and Kamelion), the Doctor would often strike deals with the GM so he would ignore the obvious clues and the warnings of other characters. Points for blissful ignorance. For even more Story Points, the Doctor fully gives in to his Impulsive Trait, announcing actions before thinking about them or flipping a coin to chose between options, usually with problematic, if not disastrous, consequences.
