Snapshots of Jimmy Olsen #30: Homo-Disastrous

Source: Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen #146 (1972)
Type: Transformation
Just because it was a Fourth World series, and just because it was now the Bronze Age, that doesn't mean Jack Kirby couldn't throw all sorts of transformations at the Ginge Wonder. Like that time Jimmy fell prey to (wait, let me look it up) "regressive gene induction" thanks to the Evil Factory. Apparently, it's a "constant hazard" over there. Workman's comp must be through the roof. Especially if they've ALSO got prehistoric animals walking around.
Regressed Jimmy is super-strong, has the agility of a cat, a innate bond with animals, and finely-tuned instincts. His greatest power, however, is KIRBY INTENSITY!!!
And THAT is how the Evil Factory wound up getting imploded. Jimmy woke up refreshed(ish) and modern near a tiny little crater. No wonder they can only get DNAliens to work there.
