I don't know whether or not it was stated in-story why the Black Knight named his horse "Aragorn," but since the story was written by Roy Thomas, it's a pretty safe bet that the Tolkein shout-out was deliberate. (After all, in X-Men, Thomas actually had Karl Lycos come right out and declare that he was naming himself "Sauron" after Tolkein's villain.)

Oh, and I think that the horrible Paul Rudd/Reese Witherspoon movie they couldn't remember was "How Do You Know."

This was a delightful listen at breakfast this morning. I'm still giggling over the discussion of Arcade, particularly "What if we get into a fight... like, over chips?"

If the Paul Rudd movie marathon hasn't happened yet, I highly recommend My Idiot Brother and Role Models.

Wow, things are starting to loosen up a bit, aren't they? The part about Ares yelling "Victory!" when he orgasms was hilarious. As long as he doesn't yell "Retreat!" I guess you're doing OK.

The comments on Aragorn were funny too; when they were talking about whether a person could "get involved" with a horse, I couldn't help thinking about Supergirl and Comet. I'm surprised nobody brought up "horse bulge". I think the worst thing about a flying horse would be the flying horsecrap everywhere. I mean, pigeons are bad enough, but ...

Apparently no "Whovians" among the ladies to say "Bow ties are cool."

But not that one.

Actually, most of them are and they've done the joke before, so they skipped quoting it directly. But really, that's what Art-Girl meant when she said more people should wear them.
