Krypto #105: Who's Krypto?

From: Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #2 (April 1985) and #13 (March 1986), plus Who's Who: Update '87 #5 (December 1987)

So in Who's Who #13, Krypto exists. The DC Universe has yet to be rebooted post-Crisis (or at least, the Superman legend has yet to be). So does Bizarro-Krypto who makes it into the Bizarro World entry in issue #2:
In #13, Krypto not only gets his own entry (above), but appears in the Legion of Super-Pets' as well:
Which of course means he's on the cover, saving Little Boy Blue, while Comet the Super-Horse takes care of the Blue Boys.
When Superman appears in issue #22 (December 1986), Krypto is gone. He's not mentioned in the entry. He never existed. In Who's Who Update '87 #5 a year later, he's been relegated to the Time Trapper's Pocket Universe, just like Superboy. We get our last Who's Who peek at him on the Teen of Steel's entry:
And in the same issue's Appendix, we'll find out what that version of Krypto's final fate was:
But, surely, we're skipping ahead here! Don't you worry, in the new year, we'll have two more appearances by the pre-Crisis Krypto before we even get to the Pocket Pup. I hope you'll stick around in 2018!

Issue #13 was my first issue of Who's Who and began my lifelong love for Krypto. The issue also opened my eyes to the vastness of the DC Universe.
