FW Team-Up: Star Trek TNG and Doctor Who

Time, the final frontier... Kraptonite's Ryan Blake joins Siskoid for a special sci-fi FW Team-Up, covering the Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation2 eight-issue mini-series from IDW. It's our biggest team-up yet as two huge universes crash into one another. It's Picard vs. the Doctor. Worf buddying up to Rory. And you won't be able to tell Amy and Dr. Crusher apart! Stay tuned for some CyberBorg action!

Highlights from Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation2, by Scott & David Tipton, Tony Lee, Gordon Purcell, J.K. Woodward, and The Sharp Brothers:
The Cybermen and the Borg join forces since they pretty much have the same shtick (not a coincidence).
The TARDIS crew are surprised to find a pantless Picard in the observation lounge, or something.
TOS teams up with the 4th Doctor!
Who thought it was a good idea to dress Amy in blue in this story?
In a future run by the CyberBorg, even the Judoon fall prey to assimilation.
Guns make you stupid, Mr. Worf.
Picard holds a rifle just like his action figure would.
The Enterprise-D fires gold dust at a Cybership. Stop asking questions.
The Doctor, cool under pressure.
Worf and Rory join forces to throw the Borg mouthpiece into the time vortex.
Will Ryker once played with Stevie Wonder at Sisko's.
The friendly farewell:
Theme: "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" by Andy Sturmer.

Bonus clips from: "Star Trek: The Next Generation Theme" by Jerry Goldsmith, after Alexander Courage,  arrangement by Dennis McCarthy; "Doctor Who Theme" by Ron Grainer, 2010 arrangement by Murray Gold; "Star Trek Theme" by Alexander Courage; "Doctor Who Theme" by Ron Grainer, arrangement by Delia Derbyshire; "Star Trek: Armada" Borg music cue by Danny Pelfrey; "Come Along Pond" by Murray Gold; Doctor Who's "Closing Time", starring Matt Smith and James Corden.

Fun episode!
I notice you have Avengers/JLA (or JLA/Avengers, if you'd prefer) in the podcast's banner, do you plan to cover it at some point?

I'd like to. I mean, my list of possibles has, without exaggeration, over a thousand team-ups, but that's one I'd do sooner than later, probably.
