Krypto #159: Earth Hero

From: Superman #668, Superman/Batman #41, Tales of the Sinestro Corps: Superman-Prime #1 (December 2007), Superman #670 (January 2008), and Action Comics Annual #11 (July 2008)

Being a grab bag of Krypto appearances in the mid-late 2000s at which point he seemed to be part of the expected decor. In Superman #668, he isn't part of the story, but the writer feels the need to explain why he isn't detected by a villain scanning for Kryptonians:
Later in the same story (issue 670), he does team up with Superman, Supergirl and Power Girl:
In Superman/Batman #41, Krypto appears as part of a vision of both enemies and allies that visit him in the hospital:
In Tales of the Sinestro Corps: Superman-Prime #1, the Super-Dog gets a rematch against Prime:
The bad Superboy is forced to disengage by other heroes just as he was about to hurt Krypto; the canine hero seems to disappear from the story.

And finally in Action Comics Annual #11, he is freed along with the Justice League to help fight the Phantom Zone villains. See if you can spot him in the action.
This is in fact this group of heroes' only panel in the issue; everything they do is off-panel. We might have missed it if Krypto didn't also get a fact file at the end of the book, one that confirms history's been changed:
So now the original Silver Age origin is the true one, not the Phantom Zone Krypton one. Superboy-Prime punched it back into continuity, I guess.
