One Panel #410: Memorial Day Blueprints

I wasn't sure I could drop a podcast on Memorial Day, yesterday, so I'd prepared a One Panel entry to commemorate the day just in case. Here it is a day late.
From Blackhawk: "The Coward Dies Twice" by Chuck Cuidera, Military Comics #2 (September 1941)

Blackhawk shows off his squadron's modified plane, or rather, a blueprint for it, drawn up by his resident engineer Vladim. I don't think he ever made an on-panel appearance, but this issue of Military Comics does start to fill out the world of Blackhawk with other, regular members of his cast. Olaf, Andre, Stanislaus, and Hendrickson all make their first appearance in this story, and Blackhawk Island gets its official name.

Over land over sea / We fight to make men free / Of danger, we don't care / We're Blackhawks!!

And your service will be remembered, Blackhawks, fictional though it is. And of all the airmen of the world.
