oHOTmu or NOT Ep.50: Human Torch to Hydro-Man

Not quite the original flaming hero. The org people like to whisper about. Stingray's home base. A villain that was practically in the last Spider-Man movie. Which are hot and which are not? The Girls collectively known as the Canadian Hot Squad make that determination. It's our 50th episode and we finally made it to issue 6!

Featuring permanent panelists Elyse, Isabel, Nathalie, Josée, Amélie and Shotgun.

Interesting that Human Torch didn't get much love; reminds me of Angel. I think the reason Mr. Fantastic let Sue and Johnny come along was to prove space flight was safe for anyone, even untrained civilians. In hindsight, that may have been a mistake. As for Sue's career before she was a superhero, I think she was an actress; the first couple of FF issues were set in California, if I remember right.

Most of the costumed HYDRA agents get entries, except for a few like Blackwing and Mankiller. (Probably a good thing in Mankiller's case, since she was basically the stereotype of what men thought a feminist was in the 70s ... meaning she was angry all the time, smashing stuff and yelling about how terrible men are.)

Actress and model, yeah, but I'm waiting for her entry to get into it, which is coming up pretty soon, actually!
