The reason stated in the comics that some humans were effected by Terrigen mist when it was released on Earth is that those people had some Inhuman ancestor way back in their past, and so had enough Inhuman DNA to undergo Terrigenesis. These characters are referred to as "Nuhumans" in-universe.

Sounds like you guys were having a lot of fun with this episode (and maybe a few drinks). I was surprised at all the love for Interloper; I always found him kinda boring. As for Don Perlin's art, he was the artist on Defenders for a long time and I think he was the first to draw Interloper, so it makes sense he'd depict the character with care.

Interesting comments about Invisible Woman and her evolution into a non-sexist hero. Some of the later stories didn't do her any favours (I'm thinking of the miscarriage storyline that led into the whole Malice thing). If you do another update episode, be sure to show everyone that terrible costume Invisible Woman wore in the 90s with the boob window shaped like the number four.

No drinks, but a lot of cold medicine.
