Aqualad: I think in Atlantis, calling anyone "chum" is an insult, rather than a friendly nickname.

Aquaman: My favorite bit about Aquaman talking to fish (and other sea life) was in Peter David's run, when we found out that sharks were not the sharpest tools in the shed.
Aquaman: "You're free now, you can go."
Shark 1: "We can't, we're trapped in this net."
A: "Yes, but I've cut a hole in it."
S1: "There is a hole in it."
Shark 2: "That's a nice hole."
S1: "Yes. Let's look at the hole more."
Aquaman (to Aqualad): "Don't worry. They'll figure it out eventually."
