Another cool episode, although I'm not as big a Kirby fan as you are; Barda's the only character I really like here, mostly because of how she was written in the Justice League comics. According to Wikipedia, the Scott/Barda relationship was based--with tongue firmly in cheek--on the way Jack and his wife Roz interacted. On the other hand, Barda's look was based on Lainie Kazan, an actress who had recently appeared in a Playboy spread not log before Kirby created Barda.
