Marston's Wonder Woman strips are justly famous - or infamous - for all the bondage the female characters get subjected to, but it should be noted that the guys can also fall prey to a bit of S&M. Case in point this splash page, in which a Grecian god (the so-called Count of Conquest) gets SPANKED by the Amazing Amazon, as Mars, God of War, laughs it up.

Notably, the story also marks the first appearance of the Duke of Deception (not pictured). There's also an Earl of Greed who looks like Bacchus. When you think about it, these are pretty weird names for pseudo Greek gods. Yes. THAT'S what weird about all this.
