Jack Cole has some interesting splash pages for Plastic Man that hardly any other strip in Police Comics has a chance. It's weird. It's intense. It's original. It's got acrostic captions! Simply one of the best Golden Age artists.

Jack Cole was the best! Plastic Man deserved no less.

BTW anagrams are when the letters are rearranged to form new words, like hustle and sleuth. Maybe you meant alliterative captions?

That is indeed pretty great. The little guys feel gremlin-ish enough I'm halfway expecting a remake of Falling Hare starring Plastic Man instead of Bugs.
